When it comes to young players and contracts where we're usually hopeless is extending them way after we know that they won't make it.

Clearly he's got alot of competition at United while with us he slots in ahead of Demarai Gray on the left.

The Dele experiment worked in bursts but failed overall. If Sancho was to come in on loan and work in bursts then due to his talent Id take that.

The Dele experiment really didn't work at all. Him coming on and doing well for 45 minutes against Palace was great, but it certainly wasn't enough to mean that signing him on a 2 year deal worked out.

Actually we might.

Depending on his circumstances it might suit Utd and the player to have the option of regular football until the end of the season.
Everton paying some of his wages would be an added incentive for Utd.

I agree, we could get a decent replacement as keepers are always available. But it is a risk Pickford can make those saves at important times. As proved in the run in last season. But we need money for a forward and in January you have to pay over the odds to get them.
