They are, and i dont blame them. They create so much talent. Kudus has shown his quality in the CL as much as the world cup. Completely agree, it isnt off the table but it's whether there are better offers around that same table.

I will be amazed if we hit that number of spending in Jan. But we will see. It's a 3 year period for P and L isn't it? So whether we're hitting a period now where it releases the shackles a bit i dont know. I cant pretend to know the full details of P&L, But we've been costcutting and scimping on things since Benitez' first summer, so that's two years, so at some point we're going to have that big oppportunity to spend again, I just beg it's done wisely.
The flipside is, getting quality in January could stop us going down. Waiting and going down stops us getting that quality.
