It’s a poor squad but a half decent manager would be able to better 3 wins in 17 games. Hopefully he’s gone in the next few days
It wont make a blind bit of difference.

The truth of the matter is that Lampard is an average manager who puts a lot of work in and can organise a team to be compact enough to get a few memorable results like Chelsea and United last season.

Yoiu can only play that way though if you have a chance of pulling off a goal or two from meagre chances. No manager will do any better than Lammpard with what we have here.

We need two forwards in here very quickly.

I dont think we will.

I cant see the 3 teams below us winning.

I mean the law of averages suggests 1 might, but if I was a betting man, which im not any longer, but I dont see any of them winning.
They dont have to win. Wolves can draw with United and still go above us.

It's not about Lampard. This is about a failure of recruitment. That's down to Thelwell and the board.
The problem is Dave, he’s been here 10/11 months and I’m not convinced at all that he’s a good manager. Granted our attack is shambolic, but he should be able to get a bit of a better tune out of them

Three more defeats and there will be (and let's be honest City, Brighton and United it's more likely than not)and I agree they aren't acting swiftly and it will cost us again. There's only so many times you can cut away goal scorers and creativity and not replace and not expect it to hurt you, eventually it catches up with you I am resigned to relegation if they don't act in the next few weeks...
They stand to lose hundreds of millions. They better get VERY creative soon.

Agree changing manager with the same squad and a totally unreliable (fitness wise)number nine won't make much difference. Quality forwards make the difference if they don't add in the next few weeks I am resigned to our fate this season there's no Richarlison to save us this time

I reckon peak Alex Ferguson would struggle with this squad and this inept board
And the board pick the managers too. Let's focus on the core issue and not rearranging the deck chairs by demanding a new manager
The reality is we need a new board AND a new manager.

The point is that it would be a whole lot easier to tar our incompetent venal board if half the fanbase hadn’t endorsed and eulogised the board’s last managerial appointment.

Let’s hope Moyes does us a favour. Buy Michael Keane off us then resign and come back to manage us again.
He’d sort us out and we’d be playing a better style of football soon. He gets us.
Moyes spent a small fortune in the summer and has already said there will be no incomings at West Ham in January.

There's loans and whilst I get we are tight financially there's always an excuse with this club there was an excuse why we went into the season with no centre forward. Also, deals are often worked on for months at most clubs we aren't most clubs we are an utter embarrassment. We don't act and act early this time we will go down.
Loans usually happen at the end of the window. Early deals usually only happen for clubs at the top end of the table.

We are a shambles I agree, and that is another complication with getting players to come. They know they will only get half a season in the PL.

Desperately bad recruitment since Morshiri arrived is to blame. I fully expect relegation now.

I'd say this as well: getting one striker in wont be enough. Unless it's an absolute dream signing and they stay fit then we'll be relegated with just one more addition up front.

They have to get two strikers in and if possible a FB that can actually attack and whip crosses in and get in the box and grab a goal or two.

The next 4 weeks will decide the fate of this club for the next decade. That's not dramatic, itls the truth. And to see the BS propaganda spin around Calvert-Lewin 'getting back' and what Tom Cannon might achieve now doing the rounds is alarming to say the least.

Two striker in or forget about it...and forget about Everton as a top flight football club for the best part of a decade.

This is not overly dramatic. We are in a tailspin.
