I don't care what particular approach we utilize in regards to recruitment but if you look at Brentford and Brighton they utilize a form of stat based money ball assessment and it seems particularly effective especially Brighton who can routinely sell off quality players for a hefty sum and replace them with a minimal difference in squad quality. I know we've tried to ape other teams recruitment style before, but that was the debacle of enlisting a head scout for DOF of a premier league winning underdog. Should of poached Walsh as head scout or their DOF if we wanted replicate their tactics.

It comes down to why we constantly flub things we have moronic dimwits running this club, that feel compelled to meddle in the affairs of appointments. So the quality cant fully be determined. Ultimately Moshiri and Kenwright need to kick rocks for a successful longterm recruitment strategy to be employed

Its not stat based moneyball.

They just buy good players for decent prices and coach them well to fit into their system.

Brentford fan told me at least with that club they focus on stats I could incorrect about Brighton
Yep. Brighton is owned by Tony Bloom who became a billionaire using stats for betting purposes. Brentford is owned by his former partner. They both use stats to identify players who work well within their teams' systems and sign them for reasonable prices.

I'm not convinced at all mate. 1 goal so far, I'd want a lot more for 40m quid.
He’s basically going to be a sound player for a team in the bottom half of the league. Will reach the heights of Wilf Zaha.

If he wasn’t English he wouldn’t of moved for that sum of money. He was very good in the championship last year but no better than what Ndiaye is doing this year for sheff utd. Could probably get Ndiaye for half the price and he’s got World Cup experience.

Feels like a Dortmund or Milan type player. Too established for Everton now.
Yes, but no harm offering them double whatever their highest offer is and the lad £100k a week.
Would be more than anyone else and still be within our pay structure.
The lad would be in bits of course when his agent calls him ?
