120 GRAND A WEEK?
I know Niz a bit and he's got good contacts in London...
I'd do doubt Doucoure is on that much but also the wage packets we threw around under Brands/Carlo were mental, weren't they.

I'm typically very skeptical of people reporting wages but that's given me a headache
yeah I guess the only thing is that will definitely have come from Fulham so if they're briefing that to the Standard then it's just from their side isn't it.I'm typically very skeptical of people reporting wages but that's given me a headache
Lampard and Thelwell both sign off on signings mate and then I imagine part of that process involves working with Bill, in the main, to get deals done.Have heard Thelwell has to report to a “technical committee” that has final approval on transfers mate…..
Find it mental elanga would be one of our first choices, doesn’t make sense to me, especially this early in the window. As a last resort fair enough, but we should be trying for better. They won’t let him go unless they bring someone in, and with the gakpo deal dying, you wonder who there back up plan is.
Is elanga the best we can do though?
Though I’m sure he’s talented he ain’t the finished article - Not sure we need young, developing players at this stage - we’ve got a few of them ourselves already, who he will just push out the queue for minutes.

Hes just grabbed the wages from there.
Is that Mosh, Kia, Uzzy and representatives of Burnley FC and Man United?Have heard Thelwell has to report to a “technical committee” that has final approval on transfers mate…..
You’re talking about potential like when we signed Dom we didn’t think his value would rise either. What teams paid for players isn’t the way to talk about how good their team is - Haaland cost about half what Nunes did and who would you rather line up with? That’s dumb and you mention messi and
Barcelona. It was well known how good messi was going to be at a very young age, even if he was Gordon/Dominic Calvert-Lewin level, he would have broke into that team alongside some very expensive world class players.
Gordon who has had 1 season in the prem and shown decent promise, is playing alongside gray at 1.7mil, rondon on a free, maupay at 12mil Townsend on free if he comes back. And Dominic Calvert-Lewin has had 2 good season out of 7 for Everton

u wot m8?Abdoulaye Doucouré SALARY £67K per WEEK
Im working on teh assumption that our DOF and Coach work together though. This is Everton though, so who knows.thing is though while Lampard signs off on deals it's not his job to be scouting players - or have the scouting system in place - or to have deals lined up. So I have sympathy there.
I have sympathy with Thelwell too, he's had a lot to do, but there were clear areas of need in the summer. I said at the time, and stand by, that in fairness we had tons of areas of need, but to not get the attacking signings required is pure incompetence.
Would say he on more than 67 a week as he highest paid so doubt Pickford , Mina and Iwobi on less than 65, that's probably what he picking up after tax and NI though if the 120 grand a week reported on other sites are correctAbdoulaye Doucouré SALARY £67K per WEEK

My main point to all this was our owner, Chairman and board allowed us to go into a a season With 3 fit forwards, 2 championship Standard and the other a kid. I was merely pointing out including the 2 injured it was a cheap forward line and you pay for quality. You’re talking about potential like when we signed Dom we didn’t think his value would rise either.
