That’s the thing

What have we been doing for the last 4-5 months ??

Everyone knew we were short up front but there was no planning or targets identified let alone signings that are ready to be completed.

We’re a basketcase club with no plan or strategy on the footballing side what so ever.
Correct and the inertia is what will kill us again we were very lucky to escape last season after the complete shambles in the summer and then again in January. I see no desperation to save the situation this season, I see people at the top with their fingers in their ears congratulating themselves and pretending it will all be ok, when they created this mess!

If they’re firing frank which I think they are doing they’re not going to be signing players for him are they?
You would like to think that kt is the one getting the players in for how he wants this team set up. Like brighton getting them in to fit the clubs style but well its everton. Honestly have no idea what is goung on i would like to think the club will bring in players for the next game at home to give frank a chance to change it around. I dont see the point giving him jusy the united game when this team is still short of attackers

The earliest any decision on Frank would be made is after the Soton game, and then only if we lose. Just accept it.
What this means for transfers though is that a lot of calories are (hopefully) being consumed looking at potential replacements, just in case. also we aren't likely to close any deals before Jan 16th or even 23rd.
There now I have written it down its up to Everton to prove me wrong, which would also be good!

He gets well beaten by united and he’s gone before saints

The deal we signed with spurs is a bit weird though, at the moment we haven’t paid anything for Dele other than wages. If he plays another game we have to pay a fee. So if he comes back, I don’t think he will play, just sit it out and leave on a free at the end of the season when his contract expires
It was just one of those deal that suited everybody really. Spurs get potentially anywhere from £10m to £40m depending on how my clauses are met; worst case scenario they get rid of a player who only cost them £5m and was being paid £100k a week to be out of favour. We get a player with no upfront fee when we didn't have a pot to piddle in.

He's under contract to summer 2024 so if he doesn't move on (don't know who'd take him) we'll either be paying him £100k a week to sit on the bench or Spurs double their initial outlay once he's played 20 games for us. Bravo Daniel Levy.
