Well I don't know. Let's call it £80k a week, which would apparently be 4 times his current wage. Sancho is widely reported to be on £350k a week, so that would be 4 1/2 times as much before we even look at the other players.

We obviously wouldn't be paying alot of Sancho's wages. Maybe £100k for 5 months? The point of loaning sancho for united would be to get him playing regular minutes in the prem so united can play him next season.

Let's be honest if we're signing a £40m player their going to be getting £100kpw.

Thuram, kamada and mofi i think would be on less then £200kpw combined. These players would be easier to make a profit on and their wages won't stop us from being able to sell them on if they don't cut it here.

Kudus at £40m on £100kpw is a massive gamble and if it doesn't work out we are stuck with him.

His problem is poor decision making and running into trouble, not a lack of pace. He has enough speed to scare defenders, but doesn't usually know when to take on a man. He can be very frustrating to watch

Yeah, here rarely gets the ball knocks it on and just runs past the man. Even through hes capable of it, same with gray they should be doing it 10 times a game but they seem to just do it once every other game.

Instead they get the ball hold onto it, wait for the opposition to get back into their defensive shape then pass it back to the cbs

with is all fine. but does anyone, I mean anyone trust the bunch of muppets in the board to make the correct appointment? I mean this crowd thought it was a good idea to appoint Rafael benitez as EFC boss.

As much as I hate the current board especially kenwright.

Even i doubt the board had anything to do with benitez getting the job. Think that was a Moshiri and usmanov getting a stiffy over benitez Wikipedia page.

I’ve never seen him leave a defender behind, genuinely.
He's not McNeil slow, but it's always a bit odd to me how people will see a player who only ever is first to a ball if the opponent is wrong footed or reacts slightly later and come to the conclusion that they have pace. Like, the guy is absolutely faster than me, but the others he's up against on the wings in the Premier League are almost uniformly at least as fast as he is. If that weren't the case, he would actually beat them for pace from time to time. Godfrey's done it before, Gray's done it, but I do not recall ever seeing Gordon do it.

Like I said, I agree with what you're saying about Kudus, I'm just saying that the costs wouldn't be the same overall so it's not really comparable. If Kudus would be asking for £100k a week then you'd have to assume that all three of the others would be looking at something very much in that ballpark. The last report I saw about Kamada (which said that Barcelona, Spurs, Dortmund and Sevilla were trying to sign him) said he could double his current £50k a week by moving, and Thuram is running his contract down with a view to a big payday and is apparently already on £80k as it is. If anything they're bigger/more in demand players than Kudus, there's no reason to think they'd accept less in wages.

I'm with you here. I mean he clearly is quick, they say he wins all the sprints etc in training, but on the pitch he very rarely uses that to any effect, either on or off the ball. I assume it's linked to his embarrassing lack of stamina, so while he's quick in a one off sprint, he just has no energy left once he's played 5 minutes of football and can't do it.

Sad thing is we all new we needed to get business done early in January. Just like we all new. they was letting games pass by with out a striker in the summer when we desperately needed one. All other premier league clubs seem to be able to do what we can’t. We really are run by a bunch of spineless clowns.

I hope some how we manage to stay up. Get the stadium built and get a new owner only then will Everton move forward. I dread to think what happens if we go down.

I think that’s what I’m getting at, not that he’s physically slow. Pace is only useful if you have the ability to use it during a game of football. Gray and Gordon would probably be neck and neck in a foot race over 100m with no ball involved, but one is capable of actually going past a defender with a football at his feet and the other one isn’t.

If we have 4mil or even 10mil, which Frank mentioned in his press conference that we have money to spend. Why waste 4 or 3 or what ever the deal is With wolves on a player already here, when that money can help us get a forward
The only way it makes sense is to free-up another loan space. Buy Coady, his loan spot to be used on a Premier League striker. Wishful thinking I know, but it's all I've got.

I've noticed recently that hes just learned a trick where he let's the ball run through his legs then rums after it, as he does it all the time! Prob saw it on ticktock
