I think it’s because the majority of strikers being mentioned are proper crap strikers who have been mentioned because they play in the PL.

And as fans, of Everton, I would expect most of us on here have limited knowledge of strikers abroad/lower leagues, whereas I would expect the highly paid scouting teams, manager, director of football etc would have better knowledge of strikers abroad and in lower leagues than any of us on here.

Yeah but honestly people think it’s as easy as just picking a player, giving him a call and him signing. There’s lots of other components involved in making a signing… that’s if the player agrees to come in the first place.

No he's dross we have Simms if we want a back up target man. A better bet is a pacey striker who runs in behind and or wide player and you get better value from recruiting players with potential to develop from leagues like France or Germany

Well yeah, but doesn’t mean we should just go after crap strikers who can come and do what maupay is already doing

How's he proven to be rubbish? When he was a regular starter for Burnley in the Prem he was scoring between 10 and 14 goals a season for four seasons.
