Kean will be gone. A host of players will be out of contract in 6 months. A player like him will help us out to score.

Yes it helps that when you are playing better you attract better sponsors but even so our revenue stream is just appalling, something like 80%+ of our turnover is going to pay wages. That number needs to be a lot less, and our turnover much higher, we should be trying to get sponsorship deals for the bloody urinals if we can!! Anything we can to increase funding streams, this is where DBB has failed massively.

And they will be published statutory accounting profits, before we add back the mystery £500trillion Covid costs.

And if that accounting P+L chart was the be all and end all, it would imply Chelsea should also not be spending so freely, regardless of how much actual cash they have. Well reported that our Covid costs add-back dwarfed all other teams.

It’s a very good indicator of our plight, and of the pathetic way the club has been run, but not definitive in terms of how much we are permitted to spend.

You do know the board are supposedly split ? That not concern you at all like?

I mean as far as the stadium goes etc, of course they won’t leave a stadium which is part of a huge redevelopment go unbuilt.

But this is as bad as anything we’ve ever seen at board level on the state of the finances and team, or is it all rosy in your view?

I know all that, but this stupid theory that they’ll not try to get out of it is well, stupid.

Obviously this is awful. However I do not believe it.

There is no way city can go out and buy a 80m defender every single transfer window and just because they are in Europe it means it’s all fine.

If Moshiri has the money he says he has then the rules needs to be changed/adjusted so he can help fund his own team. Sure we lost money during covid. It was a time where we actually invested in the squad and then found ourselves having no money coming in. James Rodrigues alone must of been on about 200k a week. We should be able to write that off. The lad never played a game at Goodison in front of any crowd.

We are in a position where we need players. The F.A need to be told by Everton ‘we have to sign some players and we will potentially break our FFP but we have to otherwise we do nothing and we go down’. If Chelsea don’t get Champions League this year then will the same happen to them for the next few seasons? What have they spent in say 6 months? 450million?

But on a serious note, yes we might sign a couple of players, but are they going to be the quality needed to help fight relegation? We are circling the drain, 31 year old strikers with injury problems.

I mean of course I hope you are right. Just not as sure as you seem to be.

Oh mate, I don’t pretend for one minute that’s it’s going well, just that let’s not peddle false narratives that end becoming more devisive than the toxic situation already is

Apart from Mosh man, who loses?

Certainly not Bil, Sharp or DDB all have been sat on nice salaries for a long time!

Only losers for me is Us!

Ripping the heart out the club is what Bill has done with his asset stripping etc.

Cant see any tears shed by the board either way their lives go on, as do ours, but for a good deal of our fan base its a huge part of their lives and will certainly be a huge hit going down and who knows where that leads!


Edit the fact is this suits them, as clearly we are brassic, so the board have the perfect excuse?
