Well, I mean their jobs for starters and also their undoubte4d investment in the club. NONE of them will throw the towel in and willingly let the club go down, an utter pointless myth that is being peddled and does noting but create even more toxicity.Apart from Mosh man, who loses?
Certainly not Bil, Sharp or DDB all have been sat on nice salaries for a long time!
Only losers for me is Us!
Ripping the heart out the club is what Bill has done with his asset stripping etc.
Cant see any tears shed by the board either way their lives go on, as do ours, but for a good deal of our fan base its a huge part of their lives and will certainly be a huge hit going down and who knows where that leads!
Edit the fact is this suits them, as clearly we are brassic, so the board have the perfect excuse?
City make a lot of money on player sales. They are actually in profit this year because of fees they got for Sterling, Jesus, Zinchenko, etc.Obviously this is awful. However I do not believe it.
There is no way city can go out and buy a 80m defender every single transfer window and just because they are in Europe it means it’s all fine.
If Moshiri has the money he says he has then the rules needs to be changed/adjusted so he can help fund his own team. Sure we lost money during covid. It was a time where we actually invested in the squad and then found ourselves having no money coming in. James Rodrigues alone must of been on about 200k a week. We should be able to write that off. The lad never played a game at Goodison in front of any crowd.
We are in a position where we need players. The F.A need to be told by Everton ‘we have to sign some players and we will potentially break our FFP but we have to otherwise we do nothing and we go down’. If Chelsea don’t get Champions League this year then will the same happen to them for the next few seasons? What have they spent in say 6 months? 450million?
Won't happenHere comes a 4-year-contract for an already over-the-hill and injury-prone Zapata. One day the club might learn from their mistakes.

On a positive note we will be given FFP adjustments for any losses caused through lost sponsorship of USM etc.
Any other club, and you're right! We need to go out and sign a couple of good attackers. Surely we cannot risk our PL status. Our wages bill should be under control by the summer.
Kean - £28m coming in
Contract is up - Mina, Townsend, Begović, Doucouré, Coleman, Davies, Vinagre, Lonergan
Players available for sell - Holgate, Keane, McNeil, Maupay, Gomes, Gbamin, Virgínia, Dele
Then go for the former West Ham striker. We need to go out and get players fast. But this is Everton.8 goals in 14 Arnautovich would excite me, but 1 goal in 12 Zapata does not. We already have enough crap non-scoring strikers. It would wreck my head if we use our tiny budget on someone like Zapata.
Exactly, we are reaping the fact that while most other clubs, even the biggest spenders, treat the transfer market as an investment business whereas for years we paid no attention to sell on value and have just thrown money out the door. FFP is flawed and the likes of City have circumvented it with dodgy sponsorship deals but it’s hard to deny we deserve to be where we are.City make a lot of money on player sales. Moshiri doesn’t have that kind of money. Usmanov does. That route is lost to us, now.
We can indeed take that stance, but we won’t because - again - we have no access to the money we would have done before. Even were we to find a few brown envelopes down the back of the couch, the “we need to do this or we’ll go down” argument is rubbish. We’re in peril because of how badly we’ve spent a lot of money; to argue the antidote is spending more money will be laughed off by the PL.
We have very much made our bed. This is us laying in it.
