January transfer window 2024

Difficult to see what moves we will make in Jan unless and until the 777 and the appeal situations get resolved.

If 777 get approved during the window, wouldn’t be surprised to see some moves involving players from their “stable”. We may even have some money for 1-2 cheap deals.

Would be the sole reason why we voted with City, Newcastle and Sheffield Utd and two others to voted down the rule change forbidding loan deals between sister clubs

I guarantee dyche won’t want to lose any of his best players in January, next summer is different
I seen a post the other day saying Everton tend to get bent over with transfers....

Look at what we sold Rooney, Stones, Barkley, Lukaku, Richy and players of that ilk, I don`t think we got the right value for these players.

Now look at the prices Brighton are getting for their players, hopefully we take a tougher stance in the new era.... Brantwaite and Onana £100m each MINIMUM...

Yes but Brighton don’t need to sell … unfortunately we always seem to need to do just to keep afloat. Other clubs know that and give us the haircut

I don't think there will be any forced sales in this window.
We may sell players if the manager agrees and the price is right.

Equally, I don't think we will be in the market for players who are currently starring for their clubs at even Championship level, nevermind Premiership level.

I think we are back to the Moyes days of bargain hunting, but then that worked well in the past.
Many of our current best players cost very little money by Premiership standard and we could have had Kudus as well if Utd had not overpaid for Anthony by about three times his worth.

Id hope not personally, but if we do I can only see it as an extra body in the squad to cover Gana going to the AFCON, I certainly wouldn't want him starting games.
He will though as he is one of Dyche favorites from his Burnley days. B indeed maybe lazy journalism or agent trying to get him a better deal .only makes sense for the summer if Onana leaves and the ageing Gana

We are not Burnley though, also he is 27/28 and will be on a free in the summer so will want a decent signing on fee and decent wages as it's his last big contract and we are unlikely to make anything from him further down the line. It's a similar situation with Harrison and a potential fee there. There is just little value in it for a club like us in our current financial situation.

Don’t you. I am surprised. We don not have a quality bench and with injuries we struggle. Two keepers on bench, untried youth players in bench, not to mention Keane and Godfrey

A walker-Peter’s type signing would be good .

Someone that can play bother full back positions… and I don’t mean like Ashley young can . I mean like someone that’s actually prem standard

I think we did with stones Lukaku and Ritchie tbf. Even Barkley turned out a decent deal
