I seen a post the other day saying Everton tend to get bent over with transfers....

Look at what we sold Rooney, Stones, Barkley, Lukaku, Richy and players of that ilk, I don`t think we got the right value for these players.

Now look at the prices Brighton are getting for their players, hopefully we take a tougher stance in the new era.... Brantwaite and Onana £100m each MINIMUM...

yes Rooney we should have got more for, stones 47mil nearly 10yrs ago was a good price imo. Same as lukaku, 90/95mil. Barkley we’d agreed 35mil with a year left on his deal and his agent had us over.
Richarlison was a player we needed to sell unfortunately.

Brighton also had a few teams fighting over their players, which helps. We always seen to just have one team interested

Not sure tbh, I think certain sections of the fanbase massively overrate some of our players and outside of EFC some of these players are just not seen as being that good which is why we don't command the high fee's and also why we never get clubs fighting over our guy's.

Also, it may be that an offer comes in for Onana (for example) that enables us to bring in 3 or 4 starting players or high potential rotation players.

Have to weigh up anything that may happen.
