They have a 60k seater stadium given to them in which they only pay around £5 million a year. They keep all proceeds from the stadium and don’t pay anything towards maintenance, stewarding or policing.
It’s an amazing deal but reeks of corruption. That Baroness Brady sorted it for them but there is talk of dodgey dealings with the local council who ended up picking up the remainder of the match day costs.
Their stadium costs are effectively covered for the year after two home games. Everything else is pure profit.
