Perfect move, some decent football played and slightly above the championship in speed. Great for the young man provided he can get enough game time.

There's always room for improvement but he always looks good on the ball at U23 level but the hurly-burly of the premier league is different matter. I've never seen a Dutch league game but can't imagine it's as intense as the PL.
His performances at the end of last season showed he is not ready so this is best for him personally and the club

And championship managers are extremely quick to drop young lads and go for experience
Then you have other lads who thrive. We’re in the process of bidding 25 mill for one.
Just don’t see the point in sending him out to a fella, who has made us systemically worse year on year while he was here and not doing much on youth development and pathways while here.
That and the Dutch league isn’t great.
Brands would know better then anyone our finances, costs, budgets and pressures, I smell a rat here.

I agree , I don't see how he he makes the pitch , it's just a nice long holiday.
