Counter suggestion…You bring your best players. It’s not blue tinted to say he’s better than those being taken. Anyone with eyes knows he’s already better than Dunk. There’s plenty of “experience” in the squad as it stands. Also laughable that Quansah is the cover and not Branthwaite

None of us have been in and around the camp though. For all we know Branthwaite has been getting turned inside out in practice games or hasn't seemed comfortable around the place.

Club form gets you a call up to the squad to be looked at. Nothing more.

I heard today he was released by England because Southgate didn’t want the distraction of him needing to sort out his future over the next few weeks. Admittedly it was from a Chelsea fan so I don’t believe it. But it’s a bit random he suggested it.

And he said Branthwaite wasn’t ready. But this kid With probably a 3rd of the minutes in prem football is. He’s also spouted on about his left grealish and Maddison out, because of others being in better form on the last 3/6 months. He obviously doesn’t think the same of the defence.
