United fans don't even want him. They're absolutely clueless.
All the comments from utd fans saying "he's only had 1 good season", and "you hadn't heard of him before last season"... No, you hadn't heard of him before. We've known his potential since 2021 lads, since Ancelotti pulled him out of the u19's to train with the first team.

Why mate? If they were 210k each, yeah, but we can easily afford 210k for 2 players.

We 100% shouldn't, but their wages ain't all that.
We've only just got rid of Gomes' high wages. I very much doubt we want to add 2 more to the top end of our wage bill. It's paying high end wages that got us in the psr mess in the first place. Can we afford it, probably yes, but it goes against our sustainability drive.

Nice to see Everton sticking to their guns. I am sick to death of other clubs benefiting from our young talent destined for greatness which is exactly what this lad is. Not for sale and if you want him then pay through the roof or k'in do one. Will be irate if he goes for anything less than 70 mill and would really love him to stay with us.

It's easy to stick to your guns when they only offer 28m for someone you believe is worth 80m!

He’s priceless. Has everything. Apart from being gifted and an amazing athlete he’s also got a great mind set. Future captain at Bramley Moore.

Seen the links with Lindelof and Wan-Bissaka. Them two are on combined £210k per week at utd, so that's a non-starter.
Depends on how keen Utd are to get them off their books. There have been plenty of times when the old club pays a portion of the wages just to get them off the books.

What is this complete nonsense.

Judging him on being an "elite level" centre back is not why he's priced at £70mill.

It's developing him into one and getting years of performance out of him.

Then there's also the market and the seller.

He'll no doubt have a Todibo one that'll be bang on how amazing he is. Completely forgetting he was a poor John Stones clone at 21 and couldn't break into a Barca team that was falling to bits.

Go find someone else anyway then.
