2024/25 Jarrad Branthwaite

It really isn't a binary situation.

Players CAN be ok to play 20/30 minutes but not play more as they'll risk injury. Players can play 90 minutes but suffer from a bit of a reaction and have to sit out training for a day or two. I know the modern mind set is that everything is black and white and there's absolutely no nuance, but it really is as simple as him probably having a slight flare up and being looked after properly.

I just don't understand why everything has to be one thing or another with some people.
No, they cant, thats an absurd take.

So then a player can be safe to play 30 minutes, but not safe to play 40 minutes? Please provide evidence of this ever being the case. You say "it isnt binary" but then the entire argument is absurdly binary, as if you can turn on and off a switch at a certain point. As if a match is a binary thing that you know at what minute, whether the 1st or 50th, that a player will have to face a hard challenge, stretch for a ball, or have to contort their body under full contact. You contradict your own argument, I dont think sports is binary but you seem convinced it is.

United bulked at our fee in the summer, they aren't going to match in in January, mid season when we won't want to sell and should be demanding more. And with the exception of Dom who no doubt wants out - i can't see us allowing anyone to leave until the new owners are in

So they would not pay what we wanted....so moved onto spending £70 million on 2 alternatives.....and now they will come back to us, and pay what we wanted all along !?!?!

And they are now supposed to be run better ???
