2024/25 Jarrad Branthwaite

Can't see him going in January. The only obvious exception would be if someone came in with a bid near to his value but that's never going to happen in January. He'll go in the summer, we'll get a handsome fee close to his value and the money will be redistributed to bring players in across our squad. Team X will get their player and will be happy. Jarrad will more than likely go to a Champions League club and compete at the top of club football before slowly but surely eases his way into that England starting 11. Everyone's a winner

How Did San Marino SUDDENLY Become Amazing?

The English defender has two starts to his name this season, in which Everton have secured four points.

Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester United all want Branthwaite, which has led to the Toffees weighing up a new deal for the youngster.

However, it’s not just a new deal that Dan Friedkin has up his sleeve when it comes to trying to persuade Branthwaite to stay, as there are a couple of promises he could make.

Dan Friedkin to make promise to Jarrad Branthwaite at Everton

Speaking exclusively to Everton News, Graeme Bailey has said that Dan Friedkin wants to keep him until the summer and then try and persuade him to stay with the promise of new signings and a new project.

“It’s obviously an ongoing situation around him and the Manchester United talk is not going away. They still do like him but there are others interested.

“Everton would like to sign him down to a new deal, he’s an England international now and one of the most highly regarded defenders in Europe isn’t he really.

“So yeah, that’s where we’re at now with Branthwaite. It’s very highly unlikely he’ll go in January, but as we get into 2025 closer to the summer, it obviously forces Everton’s hand.

“Dan Friedkin I think would like to keep him until the summer and maybe persuade him to stay, with the new project and the promise of new signings.

“Almost certainly a new manager, a change of stadium, so you never know. It’s an interesting one, and I don’t think it’ll be a massive surprise for Everton fans when you’ve got the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid and even Liverpool in the race, it’s very hard not to have your head turned.”

I don’t think we’d end up as a winner. We would have lost our best player, and would likely waste the £ we received. Our squad needs big improvements, but I think we should do everything possible to keep the only player we have, who could become world class. Hopefully the financial rules will change after the City charges? Probably not though, selling might be our choice when offered a good bid? :/

I think with TFG having seen the huge backlash at Roma from changing managers...they'll want to keep our fans onside.

Dont think they'll want to sell Branthwaite and, as they have done with Roma I can see a number of sponsorships and incoming commercial deals to enable us to spend a fair amount of money.

I would be surprised if we havent spent £100mil minimum by the end of the summer. I suspect it may be a fair bit larger.
