He's only 24. Obviously its not been a great start to his Everton career. All we can do is wish him well and hope he recovers properly to full fitness this time. Does anyone know if Carlo has brought any of his own medical team with him? Perhaps they will take better care of him

Am sure there was someone on here yesterday or the day before putting up some form of weak defence of the absolute melon heads that work in our medical department. This is all a result of their mismanagement.
All of a sudden the medical experts are back on the forum, get a grip. One minute they are brilliant becuse Gomes is back, the next they are ‘melon heads’ because Gbamin needs further surgery.

Our medical team have done a brilliant job with Gomes but have messed this up beyond belief.

They gambled by not taking him straight to surgery in the first place. They shouldn't have even allowed him to be involved in those first two games tbh.

He's never had a bad injury record so just got to hope after this one that's finally it. I find it hard to blame the player here. A lot of this is on the medical team who frankly aren't good enough.
That makes no sense.

If they aren't good enough how did they do a brilliant job with Gomes?

An absolute disaster of a season for the kid. Under 2 games in 5 months and I'd assume he'll be out for another 6-8 weeks if he's having another op.

Bad luck or bad mis-management? Probably a bit of both

It will be the best part of the year taken out of the lad’s playing career. Maybe we should just write this season off, let him watch even more premier league football and get healthy, whereby he can join in fully in pre season and he can hit the ground running next August.
