Player Valuation: £150m
We signed a player in bad shape to begin with.Im shocked it takes 8 weeks to heal from a surgery to remove scar tissue.
Thought that sort of recovery time would be more 4-6 weeks.

Footy doesn't work like this anymore Dave.So what?
He's our player. He's a professional. He gets on with our decision to retain him. The manager wanted him retained. The DoF made the decision to sell.
...anyway, this is the Gbamin thread....
We signed a player in bad shape to begin with.
And he was knackered after 12 months non-stop play when Brands signed him.Hes played 30+ games a season every season of his career.

...another one signed without a medical to go along with Iwobi.Well no, he was on holiday when we signed him.
That's some helluva stretch, chief.Three years on a contract. I'd like to know how many outside Gueye to walk with that time on their contract.
It's simple: Brands never signed Gueye, he wasn't prepared to fight to retain him. It wasn't personal enough. And we suffered badly because of that inability to see what was best for the team.

Great.

I can imagine the medical. A video conference with Brands asking Gbamin if he could do a few star jumps. He had a medical Dave.
You wont get away with your lies with me.
Would he have allowed a club to come in with that long on a contract and take his signings after he'd personally negotiated them?
They'd have gone away if Brands had given a firm rebuff to their initial inquiry. He didn't do that.
You'll be telling me buying selling the young Rooney was for the good of the club next.Yes, if he could turn a 400% profit, he would do what is best for the club.
Selling Gana was what was best for the club.
