Even if he does come back, chances are he won’t be much use in top flight football. Shame really but it happens, just unlucky.

I have an insatiable thirst for transparency and honesty...something the club is clearly not doing in the case of Gbamin. I am amazed at the number of fans in this forum that defend the club over the handling of this situation. People forget that the club exists because of the fans...the only thing I want in return from the club is being honest with us. If the guy is not going to play again this season, just say it...
Perhaps if they knew that he isn't they would. They obviously hope that he will, so why assume dishonesty?

Have you considered that the club are keeping mum because Gbamin wants it kept quiet?

Hate to cite Toffeetv again but they laugh every time he is mentioned at this point like his leg is totally buggered. Not looking hopeful is it

Gbamin...

Gatestrophe...

Utter failure due to misfortune...

We won't see him this season...

Will take him months to get physically match fit again...

Next season we will see if he has the commitment needed to play at Everton...

Not totally convinced he has the desire...

"With Jean-Philippe, he is following his individual programme, like Allan and Delph. I think soon he will be able to train with us.

"But we don’t want to put pressure on him because he was out for a long time and when he comes back he has to be ready."

The club are taking no risks this time around which is spot on. After the 18months he's had we (and he) cannot risk him picking up another injury at this stage so care needs to be taken. I think we'll see him within the next two months all being well.

What the hell? Not convinced he has the desire? He doesn’t have a Lazarus pit where he can heal in a weekend, the lad’s been incredibly unlucky with horror injuries and deserves our support as he tries to get back fit
