There are some utterly horrendous postings in this thread. Suggesting anything from a corrupt deal to JP wanting to be injured. Its pathetic.

Exactly the sort of thing someone who's trying to cover up a dodgy deal would say.

So what your saying is Gbamin is going to be our manager at somepoint? :p

Oh well if the medical experts on Toffee TV don’t have much hope we may as well write him off totally
I have no idea I am not even saying they are ITK just telling you that they clearly think it is or was worst than is public. It's not laughing at him being out nearly two years with two serious injuries, they were laughing that he could be back soon. Personally I hope he comes back of course I do, I feel for the guy. We need to just see not pressurise it, as others have said it will be a long road back even if he ever does get back training with the first team/playing minutes. Don't expect him to slot right into the first team if he ever does recover.

Is 32 early retirement? He came back after a double injury; he’s said it a few times.

The difference is, Gbamin will not have kicked a ball in two years by the time he plays for us again. That’s not just any old long term injury. I’d be surprised if we see him in a competitive game again, hope I’m wrong like. There’s just absolutely no sign of him being close to a recovery.

But Ancelotti played after his double injury. That’s why I posted his pic.

Has something happened?

If he never plays for us again we've got nothing back for £60 million spent. Does any kind of insurance help with this bill?

Doubt it but Its unfair how FFP comes into it considering we spent £25 million on him and are essentially penalised if we attempted to replace him.

For me if a players out for a certain period with a severe injury his book value/wages shouldn't be included in FFP calculations.

Well hes no longer worth 25m for a start.

What the hell? Not convinced he has the desire? He doesn’t have a Lazarus pit where he can heal in a weekend, the lad’s been incredibly unlucky with horror injuries and deserves our support as he tries to get back fit
We will see, I wish him well...
