Carlo mentioned him today when someone asked about midfield reinforcements in the summer . He said they will assess the situation depending on whether he returns from injury .
Didn't mention anything about him returning this season though .

That might just be in context to this season but it does need to be considered. Circa 98/99 when I kept praying Joe Parkinson would return. Hopefully its a Peter Reid outcome and he is the midfield general that drives us to the title.

I wonder if he’ll actually remember how to play football, like what positions he’s supposed to take up on the pitch, how to judge his weight of pass, how to receive the ball into feet etc. He’ll have not played football for two years, surely you have to pretty much re-learn the game.

Watched a good mini doc about an Ajax player going through rehab. I think we all underestimate the mental side of it for Gbamin and how delicate every training session must be for him after well over a year out.

Heard the same. His hamstring has now gone and the club are now insistent he stay at Finch Farm so their doctors can micro-manage everything, that's what I've seen doing the rounds.

Really don't think we'll ever see him play again here. Sad.

So he wasn't at FF then for most of the recovery...quelle surprise...
