Would love nothing more than that, but how unlikely is it now? I'll be shocked if he ever plays a first-team game for us in the Premier League.

Carlo thinks he will come back when the time is right so I have no reason to doubt him.

If the lad can get a full preseason then of course he can make a comeback.

Hopefully this update will keep the idiots out of the thread for a while (it won't).
Why, because people were asking why the update since November was "he'll be back in a couple weeks"? Oh, GOD FORBID someone say "this doesn't make sense" when the date for someone's return constantly push out with no explanation. Theres no need to blast Gblammo for this I would venture but the club really haven't done themselves any favors whatsoever.

Hopefully so but some players bodies after some serious injuries just completely give up on them. Look at Owen Hargreaves, he was on par with Gerrard and Lampard in his pomp and now admits his injury in 2008 at United totally ended him, no matter how many operations and specialists, and no matter how fit he felt in training, he just couldn't cope with the intensity of a high-level match ever again. Career over at 27.

Cross your fingers that's not case here but no one should be the least bit surprised if it ultimately is. There isn't radio silence from the club for that long is everything was going to plan in his recovery.

None of us know how his return will go and of course it could go either way. But I'm just a bit fed up seeing comments about cutting our losses etc. The lad has had an awful 18 months with terrible luck so the least he deserves is a fair crack at making a comeback.

I'm fairly positive about the whole situation tbh. He has age on his side and we are sensibly being very cautious. Next year should be his main target and he has plenty of time to gradually build up his strength and fitness. Everyone should be right behind him because he deserves a break.

There's a lot we don’t know about Gbamin. We never really got a chance to know him before his injury, so we don’t know exactly what kind of player he is, we don’t know how he’ll react mentally to two years worth of injuries, and we don’t know how he’ll fit into our team going forward if he can stay fit. But one thing we do know for sure, is that he looks boss in that pink top.

But the idiots weren’t saying that, were they.

I believe the County Road Bobblers done a podcast last month with Dave Prentice and brought up the point of why the club have been so silent on Gbamin, No interviews, videos, images or anything near enough. Apparently the club went to Gbamin and he said how he didn't want to do anything and would prefer to stay quiet. Each to their own like if it is true. Really hope it works out for Gbamin. The guy has had such poor luck

Hopefully, the club is making him go to mental therapist. After 2 years out with multiple injuries, his head is going to be as screwed as his body is...or was...hopefully.
