People forget that the start of all his issues stemmed from Everton rushing him into action without a pre-season.

He'll play when the medical staff, the management team and the player feel 100% comfortable.

Yes, it’s a weird one with some fans. Like once they’ve made their mind up on a player they have to be good/bad/world class/terrible. Not sure if it’s just blues or all football fans.

Yes his injury was caused by rushing him into playing when he wasn’t match fit, and he had told the manager he wasn’t ready to play, maybe Everton should sue the manager and get some money back from the huge compensation he was paid when sacked him.

Until its proven otherwise we should take him as nothing more than a bonus. We still need 2 midfielders as nobody has any idea if he would be reliably fit. Same thing with James sadly. Assume he's going to be out about half the matches he's in so we need to get someone in and have James be the bonus if healthy.

Not sure anyone does. Came on against Palace first match and looked a bit off the pace - but with no pre season and in a new league. Looked better against Watford then got injured.

His physicality seems good and is the type of player that would be useful based on the reports when we got him. You'd be a brave man to count on him though.

Sincerely wish the best for him but I'm taking any games we get out of him as a bonus.

I'd class James amongst the forwards and Gbamin would be my 6th or 7th choice at start of the season. I think we can get away with buying just one however if we get Gomes moved on we would need a 2nd.
