Over the moon hes back, he looks big and powerful which is exactly what we need in midfield with Doucs out. A midfield 3 of him, doucs and Allan is a well balanced midfield. Hope he stays fit and turns his Everton career around, fair play to him for getting fit again, would have been horrible for him mentally.

He’s the same height as Bernard, he just has really large hair.

It'll be a massive boost to him just being on the bench again, although I fully expect 2 youth keepers to keep him out...

I'm not seeing any negativity towards him, just a bunch of people honestly admitting they've no idea if he's any good
This 100%.

I'm made up for the lad. I am fully behind him in the sense that I hope he can get back up to speed as a professional first and foremost and totally put his injury nightmare behind him. I'm also obviously hoping he becomes a key player for us for many years.

However, I've never seen the lad play, and he hasn't kicked a ball in anger in 2 years. So I've absolutely no idea what he had to offer much less what he'll have to offer on his return.

Clearly set up to come on the 80th and get into a foot race with Wilf Zaha.

Both knees will no doubt explode after that.

True but I am hopeful he is showing enough in training to warrant a return

100% this will be the case. I'd be shocked that they're rushing him through just to sit on the bench for thr sake of it. Even Donachie said its the proudest moment of his career seeing the effort Gbamin has put in to get himself fit again.

It'll take probably the rest of this season and a pre season to get him back to any kind of level. But a few minutes here and there will do him the world of good

Him coming on will be double happiness as not only will it be a player back from injury after an horrendous time but it also means we are probably comfortable in the game.
