I thought the quotes were a bit ambiguous to be honest. Not in a shady, covering things up way, but in the sense it wasn't clear from what he said that Gbamin was back at finch farm, despite a lot of people seemingly taking it that way.
 
The club aren't giving daily updates because they aren't arsed about the state of GOT posters' bedsheets and are more arsed about not "putting pressure" in Carlo's words on the player, who is trying to get fit in his own time.

So you're getting no real updates until he's training with the first team and is available for selection and the club rightly aren't arsed if that upsets anyone. You therefore have absolutely no cause to complain or speculate about anything.
 
There’s moaning in the Allan thread that a specific time scale was given and missed. Now there’s moaning that the club doesn’t give specific timescale for Gbamin’s return. He’s back when he’s back. I’ve mentally written him off for contributing anything this season so if he does manage to do that then it’s a plus.

Yet they are quick in releasing updates on Allan...on twitter...could be fit for united. Silence on gbamin...

And guess what...they provided another timescale in twitter saying that he could be fit for united...nothing in gbamin

To be fair they did say he was going to be ‘ready to play’ at the end of November, and now at the end of January they’re saying he’s not quite ready to come back to training. Let’s not make out like people are being unreasonable, the club have 100% brought this on themselves.

I remember Carlo saying (in about May) that Gbamin would be fit for the start of the season!
