He apparently was subbed on in the 71st minute. I watched the game, and was surprised when the commentators mentioned his name near the end. I didn’t notice him come on and I don’t think he touched the ball or made a tackle the entire match…wait a second…I’m mistaken. 6 passes 3 complete.

What a player! Statue time for sure!

I'm not sure what game you were watching but it can't have been the same one as me.
 
Something seriously wrong with this waster. OK, players get injuries during their career, that’s inevitable. However a few weeks back it looked like he was edging back to the first team when he was ruled out again with a sore tooth!

He's been on the bench for the last 10 games mate and came on against Chelsea

Edit : 11 games on the spin he's been available for and available for 14 out of 19 matches this season

He's been available more than Yerry Mina lol

He was just out injured for too long and out of playing competitively for too long. 2 years is a very long time.
I can't think of many footballers who come back from 2 years of non-competitive matches.

You can't really loan him out because he's technically "broken", so I guess he'll just hangs around until contracts expires. Unless he starts playing in U23s to regain fitness, but I'm not sure if he meets the U23s player registration criteria. Sucks, but we are stuck with him.
