We failed this lad.

We played him while he wasn't fit which lead to a huge injury layoff.

Comes back from a disaster start only to break down again (should he be playing foot tennis?!?)

So after 2 years out, we make no effort to give him the game time in under 23's.

I hope gets the loan move and finds his form which hopefully leads to us getting the player we signed back.
Don’t know if we failed him, but the under 23 is a good shout, should have had 10 - 12 games for them

Watched toffee tv today said that he refused to play at u23.
If it's true, then he should be fined his full wage every single week he refuses to play. This crock has had millions poured into his pocket for 2+ years with zero in return. We shouldn't be paying him a penny if he is refusing to do everything asked of him to be fit enough to fulfill his contract obligations. What a joke.

Just a shame we don't have an Under 23s team he could have played in
U23’s serve no purpose to a first teamer.
It’s good for young lads as a progression but if your putting £20m players in the under 23’s then alarm bells should be ringing.
I would also have a young lad playing for the under 23’s than him blocking them.

Do we know for a fact that the game of foot tennis was part of that day's particular training program? I thought it was him and Gomes larking about at the end of training when the injury occured, in which case, it would be entirely his own fault.

He meant for match fitness which is exactly what should have happened.

Sure the £60k a week and his growing desire to return to his Wife and Kids in Germany, will help him sleep at night.

Plagued by injuries and that’s just so unlucky for the lad, feel for him, but we didn’t fail him, we made him a millionaire for not playing him.

Noticed hes on the ivory coast roster for Afcon. They must have a weak squad if hes being featured. Hopefully he can achieve some game time.

Our poor transfer activity that summer (and a brain dead red card for Morgan Schneiderlin) left us too short in his position, which means Silva was left with no option but to play him before he was fully fit.

He’s not in the squad..
Really? Whatever site I was looking at , had him called up my mistake then

Edit- super weird there's like three sites including goal mentioning him being on the squad. But they're a couple weeks old , that's unfortunate I thought he was going to have a chance for game time
