That may well be true mate but that doesn't change the facts that he cost us £25 millions, is on big wages and isn't pulling his weight.

He needs to shape up or be shipped oot be it a loan deal to the Championship/Turkey or whatever.
Isn't pulling his weight? he can't select himself and is training just like everyone else, what a daft shout again from you.

Which suggests he isnt good enough when players like Oyango and other crocks like Delph are being selected ahead of him.

He's in the same catagory as Tosun in my eyes - injury prone who's leeching off the club as they know they'll not get as good a wage elsewhere.

Im fed up of us being a charity to these types of players!

I'm also betting some of these are on bigger wages than some of our true and newly promoted 1st teamers.

Frank seems a man of pride and I think he'll be having a word in a few of their ears, especially the ones turning down offers of loans to go out and actually play. It must annoy some players much more than the fans seeing these blaggers picking up their wages without any pressure on them to do a job.

This may be wishful thinking, but could he play as the 6 in a 4-3-3? Certainly has the physical attributes for it.

This is the sort of position he was signed for, but taking the ball from him has looked like taking candy from a baby - on his brief outings. See what Frank makes of him in training.

When Tyler Oyango and Tom Davies are getting selected ahead of a supposed International quality player who cost £25 million then alarm bells start ringing in my ears.

Maybe its the injuries that have made him crap or he was anyway who knows but the facts are at present he's another albatross around our necks like Toshun, Delph & Iwobi who'll all only leave when their contracts expire having sucked the life blood outta us.

He was a good player by all accounts.

Then hes been out for 2 seasons and your beloved Benitez decided to throw him into premier league games with zero sub or u23 appearances.

Hes hardly going to gradually get match fit that way.

Of course he wont be the same player after 2 years out. Thats just common sense.

How do you know that? Hes had a bad time of it and then been thrown in by a clown of a manager and subsequently dropped.

Absolute stupid management.

Staggering that we haven’t just let him build up his fitness and play regularly in the u23’s. If he breaks down again, it’s better if it’s not in a premier league game

If he isn't good enough that's fine but to say he isn't pulling his weight after what he has been through is a load of bollocks mate, how can you lump him in with the likes of Delph/Tosun, the guy had major injuries for 2 years, out of all the sicknotes I think JPG deserves a bit of slack.

I know it was only Hull, but I thought he did alright in that game.

Who knows, maybe Benitez had done a number on him too and his confidence has gone ?

I`m sure Frank will prove to be fairer, with better man management skills than fatty was and will give everyone a fair crack of the whip.

Last chance saloon.

I hope he gets some game time because we desperately need a defensive midfielder.

I am happy for him to want stay and fight for his place especially when Benitez was clearly getting binned.

However this is the last chance, he has to take this opportunity
