Not his fault he got injured so could do nothing, or what contract and wages we gave him when he signed.

His salary is irrelevant to his atrocious luck with injuries whilst at Everton, as unpalatable as that may be to you.

No not his fault, and I have no problem with him....good luck to him, he and his family are going to live a very privileged life....
i just wouldn't use the term atrocious luck....he's had huge luck.....

I'd think about saying Everton have had atrocious luck, but we haven't either, we've just been negligent and reckless with our spending

Sorry but I don't get your attitude to gbamin, and you clearly have a problem with him/his salary.

He's also clearly has had atrocious luck with injuries - it's not huge luck to have a decent injury record before we sign him and then have the bad injuries and crap recoveries in his rehab - none of that is huge luck.

You make it sound like he chose to get crocked so he could waste away doing nothing whilst getting paid handsomely for the previledge?!?

Like I said earlier, I hope the lad can get his career going again and play a lot of football, without any more bad injuries.

mate he's been in 16 match day squads this season and has done about 60mins in that time, he's not managed to get time despite the injuries we have had all season, the time he did start against wolves ( i think it was that game ) he was hauled at half time because he was truly awful.

he's been unlucky with injuries but he's been here nearly 3 years now and he's contributed absolutely nothing and cost the club about 30/35m in that time
That’s true about his first appearance. But in his second performance out of two prior to his injury he did a lot better.

We will never know if he would have turned out to be a good player.
Technically not his fault because of the injuries, but in transfer fees and wages this lad has cost us north of 35M for 6 appearances (mostly as a sub or cut short through injury). Unlucky or not, this lad holds the crown as worst investment in an Everton shirt.
I had to halt my career due to injuries that were beyond my control. I’d be a bit angry if people were calling me an ‘utter donkey’ due to it.

The reaction is a bit extreme and once again highlights a toxic streak in the fan base.

I'm surprised it took this long for him to move on.

Whatever ability he showed in Germany, it looked to have completely deserted him on the rare occasions where he got on the pitch here.
