Impossible to know for certain mate, though id suggest that there is a bit of a vacuum of transition in the club at the moment in terms of brokering deals with a gap were a DOF used to be, that said we did a lot business in Jan then we have seen in similar windows, so there must be some structure in place interimly .
I think with players like him (unwanted by the club) it's pretty common for them to be told to sort themselves out a move. Obviously the club will do a bit but generally it's going to be down to the player and their agent to find a club they want to go to.
