Another one we’ll be keeping until his contract expires. I gave him the benefit of the doubt with his injuries etc. but if he’s always on the piss then he’s likely causing a lot of his own injuries. Jack Wilshere was another one; it was believed he always injured because he still had alcohol in his system when training, which is known to increase the risk of injury. He was regularly spotted out drinking and smoking.

Considering his drink driving conviction and this story I think it’s fair to assume he’s a bum.

You wouldn’t be much of a professional athlete then. Odd time, certainly, not sure it follows that you spend your time in nightclubs as a professional footballer trying to rebuild your fitness and career.

Well he didn’t get picked much here when he was fit. My guess is Russia is a little different
