Surely he is fit for 20 mins a game? I understand he is has been out for two years but he needed more than ever right now. I have never seen such an injury prone athlete in my life. I would love for him to be fit and help fill the void left by Doucoure.
He’s training, he has been for at least the past 1-2 months, he’s named in match day squads but Benitez doesn’t seem to want to use him when he’s needed at this present time with Doucs out

He is never going to be fit at this stage..complete waste of 25 mil

I think Benitez saw enough at Huddersfield.

Many people conventially forget he was absolutely awful against a poor Championship side.

I have no doubt in my mind if Gomes or even Delph were fit they would have been subbed on today.

Once again the squad lets the man in the dugout down.

Imagine supporting Everton, 9 times champions of England, and advocating a manager who’s just been absolutely bummed 5-2 by a newly promoted Watford. You’re a joke or a WUM.

Don't get me wrong, I think Mr Meticulous should have found a way to not get walloped by a team on their second manager in October, but I wouldn't blame him for not using Gbamin.

His team mate. Not arsed what you say about the squad, Everton should NEVER be beaten by Watford 5-2 at home.

I agree completely - so maybe give those 11 on the pitch their marching orders with the manager.

Instead we'll sack another manager and keep the same coward bottle merchants around to do the same to the next manager and the one after that.

At some point fans have to start rallying around the bloke in the dugout and give him time to rebuild the sorry squad built up over 5 different managers.

We will never rally around this manager, his history ensures that. He has to immaculate every game and he isn’t, he’s too stubborn. Goodison was getting vile today and a couple of more bad results will ensure this is a very short tenure for him. Let’s be honest, we can’t sell the whole squad as much as we’d love too.
We need a manager whose gonna be here for the long term, Rafael isn’t that man, we also need a dof whose not a freeloading blert.

I agree with what you have said here, but for the fans to rally around him he needs to do his bit too! I have never been anti-benitez, but his insistence on playing the likes of Rondon, his substitution of Gordon who was our best player yesterday and still seems to have energy, his shouting constantly at an awful Davies, but then swapping the equally awful Iwobi for Gray doesn’t to anything to gain the crowds trust? Gray was poor yesterday, but my god, even in a neck brace and on crutches he offers more than Iwobi.
