We will never rally around this manager, his history ensures that. He has to immaculate every game and he isn’t, he’s too stubborn. Goodison was getting vile today and a couple of more bad results will ensure this is a very short tenure for him. Let’s be honest, we can’t sell the whole squad as much as we’d love too.
We need a manager whose gonna be here for the long term, Rafael isn’t that man, we also need a dof whose not a freeloading blert.
This is my fear with RB and has been from the start we need long term stability from a manager, but unless he is getting results will he ever be long term? He will always be a run of games away from the chop.

The game yesterday was crying out for Rondon off at 2-1 and a player like Gbamin was supposed to be brought on.

The fact that Benitez didn’t make that change says he’s either not physically back up to speed or Benitez thinks he was never up to the standard in the first place.

At least we have Delph to come back into the fold…

Very clear that Benitez doesn’t fancy this guy one bit. Can’t see him kicking another ball for us.
Only three possibilities, either:

there is some medical advice we’re not privy to that he’s still not ready without risking further injury;

Rafael doesn’t fancy him; or

A combination of both of the above.

I think it’s maybe a bit of both but whatever, think you’re right, don’t think we’ll see much of him. Noticed the last few weeks the links with Turkish clubs coming up - where most of our flops get linked to drum up some interest.

I wonder if we are keeping him injury free to offload him in January.
