We’re the only premier league club that would have its local newspaper calling out this type of story about a player bought for 25 million pounds. ‘Sorry lads turns out he’s a bit rubbish on the training pitch’

You couldn’t make it up. Everything we touch turns to crap.
I never understand why weve suddenly started this "training" reference regarding players. Gbamin "not consistent in training"... what does that mean...can pass one day and not the other ? Tired some days ? RB referring to Rondon being "good in training"...at what...sweating cobs and looking unfit ? If hes impressing at Finch Farm, what happens in his regular match appearances as he certainly looks a spent force there. They should ALL be impressive in training.
(As an aside...God be with the days Catterick had these players running up and down the sand dunes in Freshfield nearly needing oxygen in June/July half dead after their Summer excesses. They were certainly fit as fleas come August onwards.)

I don't see him starting against Wolves. Most managers won't risk it. You have a player who was injured for nearly 2 years. Was okay but rusty against Huddersfield. The fear is you put him in, and he breaks down injured - with the recent injury record, the probability is high. But you never know tbh. It's because our currently fit midfielders aren't good enough, we wonder about the unknown.
He wasnt ok against Huddersfield. He was s...t. The guy cant run anymore. He was useless the 2 matches he played under Silva, but now he is unable to play pro football. Send him to Australia with Rodwell!

Some great players were bad trainers
