When he first arrived we all thought he was brilliant, and he was. Davey then worked his special magic that he uses on strikers and he became crap. I'd like to see Martinez give it a go with him at least until January......

100% keep him now Martinez is in charge. If Moyes was still here I'd say sell because it would be another season of him being "broken" on the cards.

Spoiler: He's not broken, he was Moyes'd.

Aren't we also in need of quality passes from m/f? Attacking down the flanks is all well and good but you need variation. I sincerely hope we address that situation by the end of the window.

Yeah mate, I agree, but was just trying to point out that with the wing backs your attack tends to become more concave than convex, which I feel would suit Jelavic well.

It's a basic thought. Even though he was pants all last season our front line would look piss poor without him in there. It's a no brainer. Give him another chance FFS

Head says sell, Heart says keep him as I absolutely love him, his slots in 2012 were something else. Really Think he can be awesome with this patient passing style! I can hope anyway...

Keep. For a season, if he doesnt score double figures then let him go. Same for Victor.

Anichebe offers more aside from goal scoring, though. He's not Drogba or Del Piero like but he causes problems with his strength, holds the ball up well and works hard these days. Jelavic offers very little.

Depends on Martinez having playing plans for him.

If he is not first or second choice, then sell.

you know what, this very well may be the case. We know Martinez fancies Kone as he just brought him here. But I also think Martinez like Anichebe's game because he actually tried to bring him to Wigan at one point during his tenure.

I don't reckon he was fully fit last season.

If you note the goals against Sunderland and Fulham in the video then he looks bloody quick off the mark, last season he seemed painfully slow in comparison to 11-12. Really hope he finds his feet for us because i reckon he's a top lid, can't remember what game it was last season but he got subbed off and on his way to the bench he must've high fived every other player and genuinly looked like a fan had been allowed to sit with the lads, think it was city or Totenham at home but not sure.
