Loan with an option would be the route to go down. Otherwise it’d be a no from me.

Napoli spunked 30m euros on him and he had a terrible season. His numbers at Frankfurt were pretty good but nothing spectacular.

We want a loan.

Yeah still a decent source but has got more wrong with Everton than right the last few years IMO.

I suspect filtering planted stuff is tricky.

Yep
I'd like to see a wee bit more substance from the likes of Joyce.
But he definitely needs a move .

Everybody here wants a winger that will score and assist 30 goals a season. They cost more than we can afford. We have to look at players that can have that ability but not always shown it and then help bring it out in them. One bad season doesn’t make a bad player. This is exactly the sort of signing we should be making.

McNeil had 1 goal 0 assists the season before we signed him, and we managed to elevate him to the level of mediocre.

His best position is probably as a 10 but has played both wings. Has a tendency to pick up muscle injuries. He was very good at Frankfurt, mainly as a 10, and I can see his versatility appealing to us but he’s maybe a bit better than McNeil or Harrison. He has nothing like the pace or unpredictability of Minteh/Philogene. An odd one IMO.
