If they’re all fit then there is plenty of pace in there as a minimum. Lampard will demand work ethic from them as well or they’ll be dropped as he did to Gray and Dele last season when they weren’t running enough.

He's probably better than what we have and is proven in this league plus gives us different options uptop. Not saying we should make a habit of these deals but right now we're we are I think he would be perfect for us in the short term.

Well, list some names who are proven in the prem, cost no transfer fee and will improve us right now. Young players ready and proven are out of our price range as of now. We need to survive the next few seasons until the financial mess is much improved and our income streams are massively improved with the new stadium.

Well we have taken dele alli, similar risk, big earner. We may get a season or two out of him but he has been missing since 2018 World Cup, so that’s not guaranteed.
Would rather go with Townsend, gray, Gordon, dcl and the lad from Watford / hull. With rondon and Simmons as reserves.

FWIW, not an insanely bad idea to get him in as Richarlison replacement. Hardly a boat load of options in that regard right now! Fits in anywhere across the attackers in 4231 or our wide in a 433/343.

To be fair football clubs are wasting loads of money paying scouts and directors of football, they could just recruit based on reading fan forums. Wonder why they don’t ?
