Transfer Rumour Jesse Lingard

It's silly season, so all rumours come with a health warning, but this "deal" is a litmus test for the club. If we are still signing players like Lingard after all that has happened to us, well, there is no saving us.
Problem is we could end up having to sign players like Lingard because of what Moshiri has done, at least it will be very cheap compared to what we have been paying for some total dross

We don't "have" to sign anybody.

We can decide to sign good players at a good price if we are prepared to actually do the work. But I agree. We probably aren't.

That's no get out of jail card, though.

Jessie Lingz career highlights.

I think with Iwobi’s more recent form, and our eggs in the Dele basket (who is miles better than Lingard will ever be, when he’s in the right form), I just can’t see us throwing £120k+ pw and a big signing fee at him.

We’re well stocked in that central attacking role.

But we do, our squad struggled last season, next season is allready giong to be harder as it is, we have to boost the squad with little spending

Yes, but we don't have to sign the likes of Jess Lingard. That's the point. If we do, we deserve everything we get.
Unfortunatly its our level right now, unless Frank can pull out a few players off the radar like Moyes did

I thought the lad Dennis was a bad idea, but, if the alternative is Lingard, let's sign Dennis. Lingard is an undoubtedly gifted player, but, he's a waster. He'll want big money and he'll be a bad influence n the dressing room. Yet another big time Charlie who couldn't hack it at a CL club and would think he's doing us a favour by coming here.

This isnt the Everton pre Moshiri, its the mess with FFP restrictions and little pull, no player of note with ambition is coming to us, only leaving
We still don't "have to" buy Jesse Lingard. An imaginative, talented football operation will be targeting younger players of promise. Over to you, Frank.

You are going to be really pleased because we will probably get both. ?
