Just read his bit in the Everton magazine.

He proper gets everton, spoke about how he loves the fans, knows how important the goalkeeper is to evertonians with the legends like Southall etc.

Said he had options under Martinez to leave but really wanted to prove him self here and stay for many years.

Went on to say how he is really loving the new goalkeeper coach, says he is really big hearted and funny, and the most technical goalkeeping coach he has worked under.

I like Joel a lot. He gets it.

Running the full length of the pitch to jump on Lookman when he scored just shows this.

I'll be so peeved if he gets dropped on sat ! Genuinely, I would really sorry for the fella ! I feel like this fella is one of us ! I know we say once a blue always a blue ! but there are some who get it more than others ! and this guy does ! the stats above show he shouldn't be dropped !

I think he has potential to be a top keeper. Until we have a really good outfield that limits the crosses coming in and doesn give the ball away in stupid places i think its a bit unfair to judge the keeper to much.

I'll be bloody fuming if he's not between the sticks on Saturday. No reason why not, Stek was on the bench last Sunday so can't see him being picked this weekend.
