Three quality stops in first half injury time, at 3-1 and at 3-2.

Not sure about going out feet first for the second though.

needs a new contract now.

Agree with the feet first, seemed a little odd but I don't think he had a chance for it either way.

Each time Joel steps in for someone he starts shaker and over a run of games improves and becomes steady.

So is he good enough for number 1 next season?

The players need to stop calming the fans down, last season stones and Howard done this and both never got forgiven by a section of the fans. Hope the same doesn't happen to Joel.

When you see who City and Liverpool have playing in goal for them Joel doesn't look a bad option. If a first class keeper becomes available in the summer then we should take him but if not then there's no need to trade out Joel.

Yes. Unless we can buy an absolute top notch goalie, I'm happy with Robles.

He's very young for a goalie don't forget - he'll improve with experience. In fact, when given a chance, when has he let us down?

I like him. They'd have equalised without him on Saturday. A good goalie earns you points and he appears to.

Maybe a big influence on him has been the addition of the new keeper coach this season, certainly seems to be punching a hell of a lot less and taking crosses instead, combined with seems to be coming at the striker and narrowing the angle (making himself big i guess) and looks miles better as a result of it.

Get a real top quality centre back pairing (3) in front of him and could be the keeper we are all wanting ultimately.
