Everton Fc, where big point winning saves and clean sheets aren't good enough for a goalie.

Here's an idea from the 'best manager in the world laa'... Let's get a new age sweeper keeper in.

Ffs lads sort yourselves out, give Joel a chance he's clearly bossing it - and coming out with some FM goalkeepers names that you've never seen play in real life is not helping you save grace.

No.

When RK can telldefenders not to foul the attacker if he went through one on one as Joel will save it the way Howard could with Big Nev then I'll accept him. Until then he is bang average, doing what a premier league keepr should while you lot soil the bedsheets over him because he isnt latter years Timmy H.
The only poster who needs a nappy is you - out of step with at least 99% of the posters on the thread - keep digging -

I agree mate. He's won me over between his current spell and his run of form at the end of the season last year where he looked good too.

I like Joel, I'm still not convinced he is the answer long term but he's been decent and deserves his place until the end of the season.

I agree, but i'm always expecting him to do something crazy, although he seems to have cut this out.

PS- hello

Yeah that's my issue, he's on a decent run of form but I'm not convinced that isn't just a purple patch and he'll return to flapping about at some point, I hope he doesn't obviously. I'd like us to keep Joel and bin Stek, and bring in a top class keeper at the end of the season, I have no idea who though.

I hope you and the small person you claim to have fathered are well neil.

I think he's defo established himself as the no. 1 ahead of Stek. May have to settle for a place on the bench next season though.

I like him myself, there was a period of time when he made loads of howlers, but he's grown a lot more consistent and our defence seem to react well with him in net.
