Joel Robles

Not at all. I'm thinking he's the safest pair if hands we've had in over a decade. You're talking about the Robles of 2 years ago. He isnt that player anymore.
Get out of what mate?
slating him as quoted, about you and pothers who slated him over his derby performance blaming him for the loss virtually when the only goal he had a chance for was the 3rd goal!

I don't think that there's going to be enough money to buy a goalkeeper of real quality this summer - not with so many other positions needing either a starter or better standard of cover.

I would take Valdes, though. I think he's a free agent.

Do you not start every game thinking that it could be one of those days were he just has a terrible game.

if we're like that what must the defenders be thinking?

Has the best clean sheet % in the league (ignoring Vorm who has only played 5 matches).

9 clean sheets in 16 (56.3%)

I'd say the defenders are pretty happy with him behind them, especially after enduring Howard for the previous 2/3 seasons.

Him being good on Tuesday, which we all said he was, has nothing to do with how poor he was in the Derby. Which he universally was reported and reviewed to be.

The difference with you is most people can say when he was good and when he was poor. You seem to side with him even when he's been obviously poor.

We need a new keeper.

MOTD sheerer on the first two goals the defence awful keeper no chance- the third goal which I did blame him for Sheerer again bad defence with origi able for a free shot!
why buy a keeper with the stats Robles has ?
hes in for contract talks at the end of the season I am sure he will saty he is and could be a great keepr at his age now he has a lot of mileage in him and the wage will not be that high!

I've not said sell him have I?

He is not a bad keeper at all. He's not amazing either. I think we should be grateful to finally have a keeper that makes saves, hopefully we'll soon upgrade to a brilliant one.

Everyone keeps saying this but without CL it's not really going to happen. And who are these brilliant keepers (with proven Prem experience)?

I don't know which brilliant keepers we could get

For me, it makes more sense to retain Joel and buy some better defenders than it does to move Joel aside and spend big on a keeper

Just my perspective anyway, and at the start of the season I felt the same as you

Why does this matter mate? Lloris didnt have Prem experience, he hit the ground running. And only cost £8m when Spurs weren't a CL side. Players are out there if we look hard enough.

It's not the priority position, of course. But in the next couple of years if we continue to improve, a top keeper could easily be the difference between us finishing 4th or 5th.
