Even if we did have a more forward thinking board.....we would still be selling players to the elite, its what happens.

But if it was part of a clear strategy to fund a stadium or redevelopment or part of something whereas the whole club was based on "buying to sell" then that would be fine but its not. Its totally hand to mouth and thats what is demoralising for most, its not the sale itself, its what it means on the grander scale.

Yep, and 34M is a massive fee for a defender. People have lost a grip on the size of the fee as they have just seen Sterling go for 40+

Truth is we don't really know what is going on with the ground etc.

But people are blowing this well out of proportion....its just a player transfer, that's it. He has played 44 games, and looked very good at times, he is just a footballer.
