John Stones transfer saga

Gary Cahill having his say now, does he want to lose his place at Chelsea which will cause him to lose his place for England

No wonder Cahill grabbed his chance with both hands. Probably couldn't believe a top club was in for a cart horse like him. Stones will displace him immediately but Cahill seems too thick to have considered that.

I think everton are not selling stones so there trying every trick in the book come on stones just come out and say I'm staying at everton. I Carnt stand to see that smug prick Mourinho.

If and a big if Stones goes to Chelsea I don't think In season 2015/16 Cahill would be too worried about losing his position at either Chelsea or indeed England it's more about Terry being put out to stud

Its a blatant attempt (at the very least) to unsettle a player. Stones may not be sold this summer but you can guarantee the words by Mourinho and Cahill will be in the back of his head come next summer when the season has finished.

Yep, it's also drawing much more attention to Stones which means he will get a lot more recognition for his good performances (assuming he can continue to perform at the same level) than before. Hopefully this means a bigger transfer fee from Barcelona when they come calling next season, Mou could be doing both us and Stones a favor.

Urban myth that team had a few stars John Moore s loaned us the monies interest free, and also sat on the LFC board - The rest of the team had mainly home grown or players from the youth system or bargain buys - Bargain buys - Ray Wilson , Sandy Brown, Johnny Morrissey, reserve players coming into the first team John Hurst, Roger Kenyon, Jimmy Husband, Home grown players Joe Royle, Tommy Wright, Colin Harvey, and Alan Whittle.and Captain Brain Labone all cost very little or cost nothing that's 11 players that helped us to win the 1969/70 championship!
Ball , and Kendall and West were big money players end off! as I stated an urban myth HC had a great youth set up!

Not arguing that mate I knew it. I was just pointing out that the Mersey Millionaire tag was only about this era. Our whole midfield in the 80's of Steven Reid Bracewell and Sheedy cost less than £1m for example

They are desperately working on this. They dont like how strong our position is. I said two days ago that soon starts commenting that bashes our club. I was right.

Bsterdz

The board or Martinez never comment on transfers until they're completed, why should they start now?

Who said this pile of excrement then ?

David Moyes and I agreed Wayne has to be a £50m player now.
I would turn down any bid for him and say: 'Thank you very much. What else do you want to talk about?'
We do smile about what Wayne is worth but, then again, we also talk about who's going to be alongside him with us next season.
We know what Wayne's value is and our price is that he is an Everton player and we have no reason to believe that will change.

Unsettling
The Palace chief said on Twitter: "Some fascinating quotes from a manager about our player.

"So having nicked Victor due to administration and then selling for £9m (where I don't recall them being worried about Chelsea getting value for money), Roberto would like it ever so much if we would roll over.

"In the meantime I guess he'll just try to unsettle our player using the papers.

"We didn't reveal any details of their bid we prefer to do these things privately and politely, different rules I guess for 'big' clubs."

Roberto also has his own buried skeletons it seems. Slightly hypocritical for him to lash out at Mourinho for his comments when he's been accused of the same thing in the past.

Cahill's comments on the other hand are inexcusable. There's an unwritten rule in the Premier League not to openly discuss opposing transfer targets in the media. Zero class that guy & a ridiculously inflated view of his own ability & importance.
