Roberto also has his own buried skeletons it seems. Slightly hypocritical for him to lash out at Mourinho for his comments when he's been accused of the same thing in the past.

Cahill's comments on the other hand are inexcusable. There's an unwritten rule in the Premier League not to openly discuss opposing transfer targets in the media. Zero class that guy & a ridiculously inflated view of his own ability & importance.

Spot on, terrible comments from a professional. He trying to kick his boss arse

I dont like what he's said there today. He's forgotten where he comes from and all this talk of big clubs is pathetic...another one who should have a read of the record books. However, I do rate Cahill. He's been every bit as crucial to Chelsea's recent success as Ivanovic and Terry. I'd have him over Jagielka that's for sure.

Which is fine. But I think it was AVB who bought him for cover and he could've easily fell into that Ben Hiam, Ferrera, Sidwell, Moses-type squad filler.

He was also 25. He'd played a substantial amount of games for Bolton and developed at Bolton. Cahill's finishing school was Chelsea.

Stones doesnt have 100+ games behind him. He isn't the finished article so could either reach potential or become very average, even at a club like Chelsea.

They're not renowned for developing young players. They're renowned for taking already developed players and taking them to the next level, sometimes hit and miss with it too.

This is what's wrong with the English game. Other countries have young players having 100+ games under their belt before moving on. They're ready.

You play 30 games in the premiership, you're worth £30million.

Can't see what Mourinho/Cahill's game is? Surely going about it in this way is more likely to make the club reject any bid from them even if they turn Stones' head? It just makes me laugh that the whole footballing world hasn't learnt that Everton don't just lie down and take it when it comes to selling players, it's probably the only thing Kenwright's good at ffs.

What Martinez said.

'I think Wilfried has tremendous potential. He has grown massively over the last 12 months,' he said .
'The first time we saw him was against us in the Carling Cup a year ago, but he has come on a lot since then.
'Crystal Palace have high thoughts of him. I don’t think it is going to be a realistic player for us. In these situations it has to be value for money.'

The very last sentence was unwise but i really don't think these comments are in the same ballpark as what Mourinho has been saying... but that's just my opinion. Anyway, Steve Parish must be one of the most unlikable people in football.

Personally I think his level dropped when he started playing for your national side tbh. Jags that is

He became the scapegoat for every bad England performance, even the ones he wasn't playing in because he wasn't providing good enough competition to the players who were playing. I remember one game v Spain in their absolute pomp, they were murdering England but Jags was playing out of his skin and had kept a world class Torres and Villa quiet. Villa then slalomed past Gerrard Lampard (neither of whom put a challenge in) past the other CB then stitched Jags up with a bit of skill and a brilliant finish. England lost 1-0, and Jagielka got ripped to shreds by the media when he'd been England's best player by an absolute mile. Whenever he goes away with England the media debt his confidence and usually get him dropped got the second match of the double header. He then comes back to Everton and regains the form that makes him England's top CB (Terry aside) at the moment. Jags is class and would have been even better had he not snapped his cruciate.

Billy Bullshit running his mouth about Stonesy saying "he's got to be the best centre back in England". Sounds like he's trying to get the big spenders involved in a bid war with Chelsea.
Where is this quote from ? He said this today or in the last couple of days ?

If this is a genuine quote from the tit then he's as good as gone in my opinion. I can't stand that fat headed whopper.

If and a big if Stones goes to Chelsea I don't think In season 2015/16 Cahill would be too worried about losing his position at either Chelsea or indeed England it's more about Terry being put out to stud

I think Terry thought he was put out to stud years ago
