John Stones transfer saga

NEA mate. If we don't want to sell or need to sell.

He won't be sold.

Simple as that.

Thats why Martinez should come out with the Liverpool analogy. As it will make everyone fume. But us.

He wont say he wont be sold, cos theres a very good chance he will be.

If Chelsea keep bidding, theres a number, lets hope they never reach it.

They want Stones to either put in a transfer request or act like Sterling and force a move. Bombarding the press isn't meant to sway Kenwright, it's meant to sway Stones.

Yes. But our strategy is that we push Chelsea up. If they reach the £100 million mark they can have him.

As we can get the stadium sorted for that.

Otherwise. Koff Chelsea.

What if they offered 90m? Every player has a price.
I cant recall one rejection with a hes not for sale at any price from any club in the world.

This.

John Stones may not be in the shop window but if Raheen Sterling or David Luis type of dough was offered at the very least the bid would have to be considered.

Every player indeed has a price.

There is indeed and I just wonder if that number has already been hit

As for the player asking for a transfer there is no way he will, at this stage, do that for once he does he waves the 5% of the transfer fee he is entitled to. That's not a contractural thing unique to Stones it a football wide thing.

Also going back to the Cahill comments re it being Stones decision the reality is that is save the rare occasion where a club feels the can afford to dig their heels in it really is the players decision

Yeah mate, gonna be honest, I personally think the magic number begins with a 3.
