Forgive me for being sceptical but that's The Mail using a Colombian paper as a source.

If there was any truth in it at all the British and Spanish media would have been all over it. Imagine if possibly the biggest club in the world considered buying a young English footballer and the press not mentioning it, it just wouldn't happen as you know.

I remember reading that Stones signed a new contract or something at Barnsley to help them get more money for him.

So we should just put him on 150k/week for like 7-8 years and make Chelsea or whoever else buy out his contract if they really want him.

I am joking of course, it doesn't quite work like that, but if we sell him, it should be when he's established enough to make him our Bale/Suarez. And then we can just hope that we will spend that money smarter than them

35m and I hope he goes tbh. We don't have any money and if he doesn't go we go into the season with Kone as our second choice striker and players like Naismith and McGeady getting 20 starts this season. That's the sad reality of it.

If he goes for 35m we get a new striker, we sign a quality replacement for Stones plus at least one other real quality player plus more quality than the above-mentioned waste of spaces, meaning they get very little game time this season.

It would be lot of money but it wouldn't all be put back into the squad. He would have to go and try to get 2 decent center backs outta it. And his number 10. He has stated couple times he has no interest in another lad up front and he keeps bigging up his wonder kone.
