Lukaku money will already be on our books. We commuted to pay that last season with no knowledge of Stones' exit (you would like to think..). So it really makes no difference to us if they cancel our payments for Lukaku and give us a lower fee for Stones.

it would be about debt mate, so if we owe cheslea say 15 million, they write that off and so we dont owe them 15 million anymore, meaning the outgoing debt technically drops by that amount freeing up the yearly installments of the deal.

Meaningless in the scheme of things with the way the club operates but would like to think otherwise at least.

In an ideal world i'd love us to turn the tables. or have any club do that.

Just ask for oscar and 10 million in return and see how we get on with that. Test their resolve to how much they want our player when we are asking for one of theirs in return.
